• Updated in-match HUD so that Player 2’s icon now sorts behind Player 1 to avoid covering damage numbers.

Valhalla’s newest dynamic duo, Qinghua & Baobao, has had their Gold price reduced from the 7200 launch price down to the usual 5400.

New Ranked Season

The new Ranked Season 42 will begin on September 23rd! With that comes the final new Ranked Season Avatar. This only affects players that have played Ranked for 42 seasons. If you only have a few Seasons under your belt, you will still earn Avatars based on your Rank until you hit 42 seasons. For the few that are reaching that mark, you’ll be met with a special final Avatar featuring a Mjolnir crown. There are 4 to get as usual: Silver & under, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond.

Sponsored Video Rewards

Since 2023, millions of Brawlers earned Gold and packed their Inventories with Items from Sponsored Video Rewards. Now, we’re working on an improved Rewards system. As a part of this process we’ll be removing Sponsored Video Rewards.

Before that, we want to give everyone a chance at one final Grand Chest. Starting September 16, everyone that has been offered Sponsored Video Rewards will have their progress shifted close to the Grand Prize.

After September 30th, Sponsored Video Rewards will not be available. We’ll let y’all know when we have more info to share about the new system!

UX

• Fixed a recurring bug where closing Brawlhalla made the application unresponsive. While we don’t recommend ever closing the game, at least now you can do it more smoothly.
• The Google Play Games switch account option was missing. We found it and added it back to where it should be.

UI

• Fixed a bug where typing using the Steam on-screen keyboard could also trigger the Guild filters/help screen popup.

Gameplay

• The Temple Climb Map was removed from the 3v3 Crew Battle Queue. The queue also now uses the 1v1 Ranked Map pool.
• Fixed a bug where the audio on the Noble Steed Emote would continue when it was interrupted by an attack.

Art & Animation

• Fixed a bug in Morph where a player could become permanently unarmed after fully charging Qinghua & Baobao’s Cannon Side Signature. Now, Qinghua & Baobao will stay unarmed while they are the active Legend, but will regain their Cannon the next time they are cycled in.
