We have been hard at work designing and preparing the next few updates for Brawlhalla. This Development Update goes over what some of our technical work has been focused on recently (while still working on Guilds!) and also reveals the next few Events. We also announce our next charity initiative with Extra Life to support Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta!

Starting September 3rd, celebrate the Champion of the Glade of Dreams himself! Super Metal Rayman is his first Epic Skin and is inspired by his appearance with the Heavy Metal Fist power-up. This Epic Skin is ready to rock with custom animated Weapon Skins, Signature FX swaps, unique Character Select animation, and roster portrait. Plus, there will be a new Companion, Sidekick, FFA & Kung Foot Maps, and more to enjoy.

All new Rayman items will be available in Mallhalla starting September 3rd and remain in Mallhalla after the Event.

Starting tomorrow, August 13th, go back to school like never before! This year’s Event introduces the first Back to School Event Center with 7 all new earnable cosmetics. Just like Heatwave, complete missions to earn Tickets, then use those Tickets to get all the new cosmetics in the Event Center and earn the new Band Kid Yumiko Skin. 

Plus, a new Color Scheme called Home Team Reunion is unlockable now by winning matchmade games with each Legend. Unlock Home Team Reunion for all present and future Legends by winning matchmade games with all 66 Legends.

Alongside Extra Life and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, we’re hosting a Charity Stream on Friday, August 29th, to support our local Children’s Hospital, the Arthur M. Blank Hospital. As well as having a donation link available during our Charity Stream, we’ll be introducing a Limited Time “Extra Life” Emote to Mallhalla. All proceeds from the sale of this Emote will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta through Extra Life.. 

Extra Life is a program of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals that aims to unite gamers across the globe to play games to change kids’ health and the future. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raises funds and awareness for 170 member hospitals that provide 32 million treatments each year to patients across the US and Canada. Donations stay local to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment, and charitable care.
