The SteelSeries Invitational kicked off this weekend with doubles in both North America and Europe! The top 16 teams in both regions were invited to compete in a double elimination bracket for a total prize pool of $20,000.

In Europe, Acno / Blaze were sent down into the lower bracket by Fozey / Sarme. The winning team moved on to encounter VipR3 / Solarson in the Winners Finals, an impressive run for the new duo, but their run was stopped as Fozey / Sarme moved on undefeated into the winners side of Grand Finals.

TM. / Swata, who were defeated rather early into the bracket by VipR3 / Solarson, were able to get their rematch in the Lower Finals and win 3-0 against the team that knocked them down originally. Grand Finals was fierce and went to a Bracket Reset and ultimately Fozey / Sarme came out on top as Champions.

In North America, the three teams of Boomie / Snowy, Phazon / Cody Travis, and luna / Pugsy once again fought for dominance over the region. Phazon / Cody Travis were able to take down Boomie / Snowy in the lower finals, but when it came time to match up against luna / Pugsy, they were unbeatable.
