After purchasing their ticket, competitors will receive an invite to the Challengermode bracket. These invites will be sent out Friday mornings weekly leading up to the event. Once you receive your invite you have until Tuesday November 10th at 5pm Eastern to accept it.
Cosplay Contest
The Brawlhalla Cosplay contest will be returning to the Community Stage this year. We’re excited to see your amazing creations. To ensure a fun and safe experience for everyone, please review the following rules carefully.
General Rules
- All costumes must adhere to the venue’s policies. This strictly prohibits the use of any flame, fire, flash powder, or similar effects. If you have any questions please reach out to info@bhesports.com
- Costumes must not leave any messy substances, such as glitter, liquid, or debris, on the stage, in the performance area, or in the general venue.
- Costumes must be rated PG-13 or below. This means no flagrant nudity or overly suggestive attire. Please keep our family-friendly environment in mind. Judges and event staff reserve the right to refuse entry should a cosplay be too provocative.
- For anyone bringing in a prop weapon, please send us a picture of it ahead of time at info@bhesports.com so that we can ensure the smoothest experience possible with the security team.
- The venue’s weapon policy must be strictly followed. Prop weapons must be inspected and peace-bonded by event staff before the contest. Any real weapons, sharp objects, or projectiles are strictly prohibited.
- Competitors are responsible for showing up to all scheduled sections of the contest (e.g., prejudging, stage walk) on time. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
- Event staff reserves the right to eliminate any participant from the competition at their sole discretion, for any reason deemed necessary to maintain the safety, integrity, and enjoyment of the event.
- Please refrain from marriage proposals during the contest.
- Participants under 16 years of age must have a parent or guardian physically present during judging, photos, and the onstage portion to be eligible to complete. Participants also must have the permission form found on the last page of the official esports rulebook filled out and available should it be requested by event staff.
- Participants must be at least 13 years of age to participate

- Event Staff reserve the right to disqualify and remove from the Brawlhalla World Championship Expo participants who:
- Are overlay rude, disrespectful, discriminatory, racist, or who commit physical, sexual, or psychological harassment in the context of The Brawlhalla World Championship
- This includes but is not limited to
- Deliberate costume damages and sabotage
- Sexual harassment, including inappropriate glances and disparaging comments
- Ill-willed refusal to use someone’s preferred pronouns
- Politically charged comments or expressed opinions that can undermine someone’s physical or psychological integrity or their dignity.

What is the Competition Pass?
Competitor passes allow the ticket holder to enter and compete in either singles, doubles, or both.
Is there an age restriction for this event?
No, however, all individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a Parent/Guardian. Individuals looking to compete must be at least 13 years of age and have filled out, and brought with them, the final page of the Brawlhalla Rulebook.
Can I purchase spectator passes at the door?
Yes, however, keep in mind tickets purchased at the door can be higher in price, and will have limited capacity. Attendees are encouraged to grab tickets online as we will only be holding a limited quantity of tickets at the door.
When does tournament registration cut off?
November 8th, 11:59pm Eastern Time. Brawlhalla Esports reserves the right to change or modify this date at any time without notice.
What should I expect from security at the event?
All guests are screened through metal detectors prior to entry each time they enter the venue. Absolutely no weapons are permitted on the premises of the venue; leave them at home.
Backpacks and non-clear bags are not permitted in the venue; all bags must be clear, no exceptions. This also goes for any and all media requests. All bags are subject to additional search at any time while onsite.
Dangerous or disruptive conduct will result in ejection from the premises. Terminal West reserves the right to deny entry or access.
Am I allowed to bring outside food or drink into the venue?
No, the venue does NOT allow any outside food or beverages inside the venue; you are permitted to bring in empty water bottles that can be filled up at the water stations throughout the venue.
Can I bring my water bottle into the venue?
Yes, external water bottles are permitted provided that they are empty upon entry.

- Professional photography is only allowed for those with a press pass
